Image
[ad_1] With India's new free trade agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) taking effect from October 1, Swiss watchmakers such as Breitling are looking to generate profits that will allow them to invest more in people, advertising, media, boutiques and overall capital spending, said Breitling CEO Georges Kern.Kern expects the pact, under which New Delhi would slash the basic customs duty on Swiss watches over the seven-year period, would eventually reshape the economics of the luxury watch industry in India, whose world-leading growth credentials are already firmly established."The new free trade agreement is a big step forward. Earlier, we were operating with almost zero margins," Kern said. "Pricing won't change, but lower duties now allow us to invest far more than before. Indian steel exporters seek relief in India-EU FTA amid rising tariffs

Image

US’ 100% tariff war on China could fire up India’s big gain

Image
